Spent some quality time with the store associates here at Bass Pro in the designated Tornado safe area during the warning as I guess there was one just up here on the interstate.
So should I bring a life vest when I go to the Wilderness club Saturday?

Life vest, no, but knee high boots might be a plus.

I can remember standing in two inches of water at a couple of shooting stations there...that and plenty of mud...after much less rain than we've had recently.

Talked to the club. The place is pretty much flooded. I'm not trying to stop anyone from shooting at my club but I'm gonna pass on this one. Then that's just me!

I guess I'll just truck on down the road then.
Sera said that the water is too high anyway.
Oh well! :( Next time I'm down this way! :)

Saw pics of the WGC in Lafayette,La. taken Sat. Morn. Water was a foot deep at station 3 at the foot of the hill and by station 15 was up to waist deep. Gonna take a while to get over this one and more rain scheduled thru Wed. Just what we need!

I just keep telling everyone here to send this on up to Missouri. We could use a good drenching up tere to alleviate the drought!

Tues. morn still have rain in the area. WGC is still under water! South La. has had its fair share of water and then some. Headed out to Co. on Wed to bird hunt-colder but not near as wet!
