I was wondering if I could get some info on this shotgun. Identification , price things like that.

This gun was recently given to me by my step-father it is a F.I.E. sxs .410 the reciever is marked F.I.E. and has a tiger surrounded by engraving on the reciever, the trigger guard is also engraved.
It has goldend triggers to. The underside of the reciever is engraved and in an oval in the center of the engraving it says BOITO Made in BRAZIL. The barrels are 26 in. long they are choked to full . The barrel says F.I.E CORP MIAMI FLA on the right side on the oposite side it says .410 guage 3'' chamber

I will be thankful for any information. Thank you for your time.

F.I.E. was the importer , Boito shotguns were sold by K-Mart among others.

F.I.E. folded in 1990

your gun has little value, maybe $200 , doubtful if much more.

F.I.E. standsfor firearms inport export. a company out hialeah,fl. to the best of my knowledge it is brazilian made.i have owned several boitos and though they are kind of crudly made they have always served me well. because of the popularity of doubles at this time your gun depending on condition is $150 to $225. hope this helps.

I just got a sxs 12 ga FIE from Brazil. It does not say Boito
anywhere on it, but it does have the word REVELATION
stamped on the left side. I would appreciate any info I can
get. The gun looks and operates great.
Thanks, RWINC

It's the same gun just Western Auto paid the extra money to have the "Revelation" brand put on it

Is it marked ERA? E. R. Amantino is the manufacturer and later guns are marked ERA instead of Boito. Revelation is usually associated with Western Auto. Most of WA's guns seem to be made by US manufacturers, but they probably imported some, and if it says Made in Brazil and has FIE's stamp, I'd wager it is an ERA even if it doesn't have that mark. Here's a link to Bioto/ERA's homepage:

I am looking for some info on an FIE 12 ga. Shotgun. It says made in Brazil No 36159u on the bottom and on the left side it says Marca Reg and 12GA 2 ¾ CHA MRFG. On the right it says FIE CORP MIAMI FLA. It is a neat older shotgun with some pitting to the barrel and a newer stock. I was wondering its history and value as my friend is asking $50.00 for it.

I'm afraid this shotgun has very little history or value. $50 is probably about right - you can get a new one for about $80 - if the pitting is on the OUTSIDE. If it's pitted inside the barrel, it is way over-priced.
