Are they still making that? Or are you shooting ancient ammo?

I called them as well. I am curious if anyone has any experience with them. I must have been lucky as I ordered 10 flats but they are not expected until Feb.

I've used herters AK ammo without any problems. It's well priced, and is cleaner then wolf ammo. This was rifle ammo, so I can't say for sure about the shotgun stuff.

Some info in description in Cabelas says this shell is loaded in Italy. Wondered if anyone had used them and had opinion as I saw these shells in their lineup.

I see Cabelas has these in stock now. Has anyone tried them yet?

Mine arrived last week. 1 oz 1290. 7.5. Shot fine with no issue. All targets were within 30 yards however. Havent tested on far shots.

Do you shoot O/U or SA? Wonder how clean they burn.

O/u. I shot 200 through it. Was no more dirty or clean than my normal 100 rounds of federal 1290 fps. The seemed to have less kick though.

I wanted to buy some of these and try them, but my local cabelas didn't have them in stock, and they didn't have the rio heavy game loads that I like too, they were pretty picked clean when I was there, but I like the price and I'm intrested in trying these. Once the paranoia of ammo being taken away by the goverment, cabelas can replenish the stock.

I got a case of the Herters 1oz 7.5s from cabellas today and shot three boxes in my 390. They seem to burn a lot dirtier than the estates I normally shoot. They also caused the only jams I have had in the 4 years I have the gun. Both times the bolt got stuck on closing because the shell was stuck on the upper right hand side of the breech face. Weird.

I honestly didn't think this was even possible.
