Is there any source of parts or drawings of parts for the No. 9 Remington single barrel shotgun? I could probably make them if dimensioned drawings were available. Probably more trouble than the gun is worth, though. The hammer, cocking lever, locking block spring, locking block screw and firing pin spring are missing. L. O. G.

You could try the original source, the Remington Arms Company Incorporated. Their address is:
Remington Arms Company Incorporated
Consumer Services
870 Remington Drive
P.O. Box 700
Madison, NC 7025-9700
Tel: 800 243 9700
Fax: 335 548 7801
You could try some of the parts dealers and see if they might have what you need. They buy up old guns and break them up for parts to sell. They include:
Gun Parts Inc. 226 Williams Lane, P.O. Box 299, West Hurley,NY 12491, Tel: 845 679 4867

Jack First Inc. 1201 Turbine Drive, Rapid City,SD 57701, Tel: 605 343 9544

Poppert's Gun Parts, P.O. Box 413 Glendale, PA 19030, Tel: 215 887 2391

Dixie Gun Works, Gun Powder Lane, Box 130, Union City, TN, 38281, Tel: 800 238 6785

and just for your information (you may know this), there are two almost identical Remington single barrel shotguns, the Model No. 3 made from 1893 to 1903 and the Model No. 9 made from 1902 to 1910. The only difference is that the Model 3 has an extractor only while the Model 9 has an ejector. The values in the Blue Book are the same.
100%-$ N/A, 98%-$450, 95%-$400, 90%-$300, 80%-$260, 70%-$200, 60%-$150, 50%-$130, 40%-$100, 30%-$90, 20%-$75 and 10%-$65.
