Having a heck of a time with an old shotgun inherited from family member. Old and not been used in awhile. Doesn't eject shells, or chamber next. I can tell it needs a MAJOR clean and lubing but, can't figure out how to remove bolt! Embarrassed. Never had a gun I couldn't fully strip! Anybody have access to a parts schematic? Or, info on resolving my dilemma?
Thanks,
Much obliged.
Lost in Louisville.

Check the Franchi website.

Here are some instructions from my 48AL Owner's Manual.

Remove barrel, forend, friction rings, and recoil spring. Remove the trigger assembly.

Using a punch, push down the action spring follower to release the link. Working on the link, push the breech bolt out of the receiver, holding the operating handle which will slip out of its slot by itself.

Thanks for the help, U.

I got to the removal-of-trigger assembly, but haven't gotten to the next step. I'll give it a try.

I've got a couple scatterguns I'd like to get values on - can you help?

Thanks again.

Post as much info as you can about the guns on the "Gun ID & Value" board and someone should be able to help you. :)

Go to the gunsmithing and restoration forum and see "Help with Franchi". I just explained it to someone else the other day.
