had the pleasure of shooting two stations with one. One of my dear shooting buds just bought it. One word, awesome!! Above and beyond all other sporters IMHO...

Not in mine! I'm plenty happy with my 725, thank you. Yes, it's a fabulous gun, end of story...

Has to be a night and day difference compared to the 725. If for nothing else than the heft alone.

Not so fast there, Slugo. Haven't you had this itch before and somehow beat it back? I think it's going to be a recurring problem until you scratch it.

You should shoot the Parcour, Slugo - you'll sell that Browning

I very definitely shoot my 32" K-80 better than my buddy's 32" 725. And I shoot his 725 better than he does. And he has Mullers in it.

:D :D :D

Yes K-80 are very good guns as long as the fit you. The better the fit the more impressed you will be.
So when will you get a custom stock for your 725.

It was only the second Krieghoff I had the pleasure of shooting. The gun was heavy, until you hoisted it into position. Man, I got to tell you, that thoroughbred felt like A Derby winner. Perfect balance, better than anything else I ever had the pleasure of using.

It is good too shoot something like a 725 first, in order to appreciate the K80.

Obviously when it comes to higher grade shotguns, there are a few camps. Generally speaking, the K-80 appeals to larger shooters while the P-gun appeals to smaller shooters. Krieghoff released the Parcours to appeal to those wanting a more lively gun with dynamics more toward a P-gun.

FWIW I am a larger shooter at 6'-6"/250lbs and my 8lb-12oz 32" K-80's feel about perfect to me. I need a 15-1/2" LOP, so almost any gun needs to be extended -- and here I love the ISIS recoil device, so it's a natural add-on. I am also left-handed, but prefer neutral cast and slight palm swell on both sides. And to top it off, I have a long neck so prefer a gun with a lot of DAH about 67mm is nice and comfy, but need a relatively shorter DAC around 38mm is ideal. Hence the K-80 #6 stock with an adjustable comb I can raise -- and modified to angle it flatter -- ends up as near ideal for me. I avoid a custom stock simply because the K #6 modified as described works extremely well.

My only real point is that while the K-80 sporting is T H E gun for me, I respect it's not necessarily the gun for everybody. But at the same time, I do believe every shooter deserves to have a "gun of their dreams" at some point in their lives -- it makes shooting that much more of a pleasure.

Well, there's one in every crowd. I had one for skeet and just couldn't shoot it well. First, I couldn't get it to fit so I put a PFS on it. It turns out it was just too dang heavy for the way I like a gun to be.

I was very glad to get rid of it without completely losing my shirt.

SLUGO,

You only live once, but when you're dead, you're dead for a long long time. Buy a K80.
