I own a 1972 Remington 1100 12GA without a scratch on it. Wood, finish and bluing is in excellent condition. I am just curious what it's worth. Any ideas?

Around here $375, maybe $400 if you get an antsy buyer.

I bought mine a few months back at a local gunshow. It is a 1971 vintage and is in pristine condition like yours. The guy was asking $475.00 but I talked him down to $425.00 which I feel was a good price considering the shape it is in, it shoots great and is in like new condition.

I ended up with two used 1100's today. The pricing maybe interesting to you.

1. 1973 Remington 1100 Magnum Duck Gun--30" Full Choke, VR 12 GA. 80+% $329.00,

2. 1970 Remington 1100 Field, Plain Barrel, Fix Mod 28" bbl 12 GA. 90% $250.00

I though these were good prices--a year a go 1100 26" VR Fixed I/C gun at $350.00 was about $50 too much but the timing was right.

Depends on the model. A plain rib field grade 1100 will often be worth less than a trap or skeet grade 1100. Used target grade 1100s tend to be under $500, with some older field guns below $350.
