What magazine extension tube will fit Hatsan Escort 20 gauge auto loader? Threaded like a Mossberg or Remington? Does the stock magazine tube need to be modified to allow shells to pass through to the magazine extension? Choate, Carlson or Nordic? I can't seem to find any information anywhere? I found a few things for the 12 gauge but nothing for the 20 gauge.

Thanks

Hi,

I have no experience with mag extensions, 12ga or 20ga. But the Escorts are pretty much a Remington 1100 knock off. You maybe could try a Remington tube or at least compare them to see.

Hatsan has on owen web page extension tube for 12 cal , i never hear for 20 cal. Best is to buy 12 cal tube and add into additonal narrow tube to fit the 20 cal.

I am also interested in an Escort 20 Ga, and also need an extension tube for the gun. I have contacted Nordic Components. However, I was under the impression that Escorts used Italian thread sizes (Read: Beretta, Binelli). They suggested trying different shotgun brand's Forend caps while at a gunshop, on your gun (I don't have mine yet). When you find one that fits, you can let them know and they can supply an extension tube for you. They have sent me an email of (some of ?) the thread specs they have. I also got a couple of thread samples from them to try on the Escort. We appear to be breaking new ground here! My Escort will be left-handed as well -- I am getting the Supreme Magnum version.

*Update* Sorry, but it took me a while to find an extension tube that fits and works 100% of the time. Choate magazine extension tube for the Benelli Nova 20 gauge workes for my wife's Hatsan Escort 20 gauge. Tested for 200 rounds and has worked flawlessly.

I've been persistent enough to search several forums in regards to this subject and I was finally able to come to the conclusion that the Choate tube for the Benelli Nova 20 Ga. works as well for my Hatsan Escort Gladius 20 GA. SA but I have a problem punking, the threads fit perfect but my issue is that when installed, there is still a large gap between the base of the extension and the forend. How did you fix this problem?

Nordic Components shotgun magazine extension tube kit for increasing magazine capacity. Used in conjunction with the 20 gauge extension tube nut.
