Looking into the purchase of a K80 Parcours and wondered if the Parcours sub-gauge barrels will weigh the same as the 12 ga barrels? I saw the 28 ga barrels advertised for the first time today, but the 20's have been out for awhile. Anybody using them?
Thanks in advance.

I always like to hear from shooters, then weigh that against Mfg/vendor numbers.
Thanks though.

So If you asked Will Fennel or Rollins Brown or Kimble you wouldn't take their word on the weights ? interesting

Not saying I would believe Joe Shooter over anybody else, just looking for input from users. In fact I talked with Robert Paxton yesterday and he confirmed that the current 20 ga barrels and soon to be available 28 ga Parcours barrels will weigh 3 lb 1 oz like the 12's.
If you were interested in an F150 and asked a good friend about the gas mileage he got in his new truck, would you believe him or the estimate on the window sticker? Probably factor in both numbers, which was what I was thinking when I asked.
Sorry if I offended anyone,

I have a 20ga K-80 Parcours barrel set, and they weigh within half and ounce the same as my 12ga Parcours barrel set. Love them!

Best,

Will

Will, do you have original fixed chokes or have you changed them?

Jimmy,
Mine are still factory fixed Mod/ImprovedMod. Love the way they kill doves!

Best,

Will

Thanks for the input Will.
I have been shooting a 12 ga Parcours for a couple of weeks and really like it. Sub gauge barrels or a Parcours carrier barrel with tubes is in my future. I have seen nothing to indicate the sub-gauge barrels don't use the same 12 ga forend, but since the barrels are not in a "hangar"' like the traditional K80 Sporter how does that work? Or is there a separate forend for each gauge like a lot of other makes?
Thanks,
Steve
