I'm curious if the old or new affinity's, having the same bolt, experience the 'click' from time to time?

Also, with that odd shaped recoil pad are there any cushier, bigger after market pads that fit?

thanks

On my Affinity. I haven’t experienced the “click” but I’m under the impression it’s possible. No aftermarket pads available to my knowledge due to the funky cut design.

I experienced the click with my intensity last weekend while duck hunting. I had bumped the stock on the blind floor a little too hard. I'm usually pretty careful about not doing that.

Cool, I hadn't heard/read much about this issue with the non-benelli inertias. I'm still think I'm buying an affinity!

thanks for the info, with this website I admit there are some grouchy folks (I was warned not to ask so many q's by a diehard local shotgun nut...he avoids the site now which is a shame), but I find honest answers like this priceless. thank you sir!

Happens on every site to some extent. I've been very happy with my Franchi so far

A few years ago I had an Affinity in 20 ga. - 26" that I shot in 5 stand for a year.

Never had a failure of any kind, or any issue with the buttpad being less than comfortable.

I've not had the click experience with mine so far . Not had any problem with discomfort with the R Pad either . However if it's not comfort enough you can buy vest that have shoulder padding for those that shoot a lot of clays on a regular basis .
