I was wondering if the Tristar TT-15 is made by Khan, and it also looks like the same basic gun is sold in Canada with minor cosmetic differences. (I cannot seem to post pictures here, so I had to make do with some links)

I have been shooting trap since 1970 and have used numerous “main stream” target shotguns over the decades but I wanted to find out more about these. This is partly to advise new shooters that come out to our club.

I would be interested to find out the following from any experienced trap shooter who have 10,000+ rounds through these;

Shooting

- Barrel Regulation, are the barrels well regulated to shoot essentially to the same POI?
- Point of Impact Adjustment, can they be set up to shoot in the region of 70/30?
- Trigger, similar weight for top and bottom barrel settings?
- History with failure to fire?

Operation/Durability

- Lever stays to right of center?
- Parts breakage, firing pins, ejectors, etc.?
- Premature wear on locking surfaces, hinge pins, sears, ejectors etc.?
- Rib Adjustment System, any problems?
- Wood, any cracking?
- Stock Adjustment Hardware, any problems?

I don't know, thats why I am trying to find out more about them, I have been a Remington and, to some extend, a Browning, target gun shooter for the past 40+ years.

I would like to know more about these guns, though.

Spoke to a TT-15 owner earlier today
He's over 25k rounds in 2.5 years
All running fine at the moment
