As a Beretta guy since the mid 80s, I would go with the 725, Sporting or Field depending.
Because Browning has continued to refine, some would say look for success, while the Beretta is very much the tried and true.
One can not really go too far wrong but, the 20 gauge 725 has been tweaked a bit and has a good rep, hitting all the current must-haves.

Balance often trumps fit, imo....in value and in the ease of achieving it.
As one element of fit, I was fit at 16"+ lop...I shoot 14" and a bit.
Fit is often overrated or misunderstood.
Best option is too convince yourself that whatever decision you make is the correct one and then shoot the bluing off of the scattergun.

Experts of long residence here have opined that Browning is in a continual decline of their end product quality and have presented evidence thereof.
