Hey Phil,

I am getting frustrated with my handicap scores. I am a 27 yard shooter and my handicap scores usually are in the mid to upper 80's. I am a AAA shooter in both singles and doubles but there seems to be a disconnect in handicap. It feels like there is no connection between me and the target from the 27 yard line. Do you have any advice? If you need any more details let me know.

Thanks!

Some more info would be nice-
What is your poi?how hi do you hold? What do you mean by disconnect? How long have you been on the 27? Any observations you have noticed?

My gun shoots a full pattern high. I hold down on top of the house. It feels like I can't seem to lock onto the target with my eyes from the 27. I have shot on the 27 for about 12 years. I use to shoot decent scores from the 27 with 99 being my best but it is a struggle anymore to break above 90. I did have my eyes checked and nothing has changed with them. I don't think there is a cross fire issue because my singles and doubles scores have stayed in the AA range.

Usually if I am going to miss it will be on station 4 or 5 and it can be any target from those two stations.

Have you changed anything at all since you were breaking better scores

try adding 3/32 to your comb for handicap and see if that helps
