Made a decision and brought home a 28 gauge 28" Redhead Premier today. Found it on a website and my local dealer brought it in...I guess it was a leftover, as CZ does not make this model in 28 gauge any longer...that's OK.

Seems to be well made, nice wood, handles well...will be a couple of weeks before I have a chance to try it out on skeet, but looking forward to it.

Appreciate the help and opinions in these forums!

They are nice guns. A couple of my hunting pals shoot them. No problems that I know of. The first two digits in the serial number are the year of manufacture.

Welcome to the Huglu gang, and welcome to CZ ownership, they are a good gun.
