I just purchased a B. Rizzini combo with fixed chokes.
I'm trying to determine what chokes the barrels are.

The top single barrel is marked 18.7 8.10
The over barrel of the over/under is marked 18.7 8.10
The lower/under barrel is marked 18.7 5.10

Can anyone help me figure out what the barrels are choked at?

Thanks.
Dan

Viking, take it to your gunsmith and have him mic both barrels, then no more wondering what they really are. Peace of mind is worth something.

Subtract the larger number (in mm) from the smaller number (in mm) and do the conversion

All the Rizzinis I've had came with a number of "O"s stamped on the barrel under the fore end. A single "O" is I think true cylinder and five is full. Might be worth having a second look?

Bear in mind also that choke is what choke does; no amount if miking up will be as informative as ten rounds at the pattern plate.

The second fraction is the choke value:
8/10 means 0.8mm (0.031 inch) of costrction so a good improved modified or a light full
5/10 is 0.5mm (0.02 inch) so you have a modified

Robert,
Thank you. That is what I needed to know.
