Is the stock screw on a A5 suppose to have a resess on each end of the slot for the locking screw or only on one side? Thanks

I just had one in and I think I recall only one side of the screw had a notch for a locking screw.

All of them I’ve ever seen only had one but sometimes there sill not quite tight when the lock screw lines up. Rather than file another slot where the screw tightens up I’ve made a shim like a small washer and filed the thickness down untill the screw i nice and snug when the locking screw lines up. Easy way to do that is if you have a electrical connector assortment to find one the correct ID and snip it off with side cutters and make a washer. There copper so it’s easy to thin it down with a file or sand paper till its the correct thickness so the screw is tight and the lock screw lines up.
