How many pro-gun people do you think Mrs. Bill Klinton would have nominated?

If Trump is "dangerous" to our cause, would you have preferred having her as President?

Yes I'd say he's dangerous to your cause. Not to our cause. But leftists and never trumpers will always see the sky falling. Maybe you could give a speech on the peril at the humansville democrat hag convention.

The fellow is a Republican from Hawaii. There are only five Republicans in the 51 member Hawaii state legislature, all in their House of Representatives, none in their Senate.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawaii_ ... egislature

Hawaiians are especially opposed to racial and ethic profiling, because of still fresh memories of the internment of Japanese citizens during World War Two, and only 25% of Hawaiians identify as white.

The man must have had some broad appeal to be elected Attorney General in Hawaii, and be approved by their Democratic US Senators.

I don’t agree with his amicus brief on Heller, but he’s acknowledged it’s the law of the land.

And I learned a long time ago the world was not set up for everybody to agree with me, on every issue.

Otherwise we’d all be shooting lead shot, and steel shot banned as a threat to our precious children’s teeth.:)

Hopefully the Republicans in the Senate won’t eat this lonesome Republican from Hawaii.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit is a liberal bastion of leftist judges anyway. One more won't make any difference. Trump is just throwing a bone to the Dems.

Presidents don't generally exercise their authority to choose the District and Circuit Court judges they nominate. They instead rubberstamp the choice of a Senior Senator from their own parties in the court's location. That's why the surest route to a federal judgeship is becoming a Senator's BFF.

An exception to that time-honored practice occurs when the President's party has no Senators in the area. Hence, Eisenhower was able to appoint the generation of able federal judges who desegregated the South.
