So I'm trying to find out the name of the type of notch sight used on African big/dangerous game rifles, its like a typical notch (U, V, buckhorn, et al) rifle sight, but does not have the notch, so the shooter can get a rapid sight picture. I'm curious if they have these sights for shotgun slug barrels, I think it would be a nice alternative to ghost rings, since they're not as bulky but still offer a rapid, somewhat precise, sight picture. Thanks!

Peep sights are considered about the best for double rifles, followed by the V-notch rear and a gold bead front, often referred to as the "English express sight."

You will find ghost sights as fast as anything, nothing to be gained by express sights. Unless of course you just want them

Thanks all, I found the barrel, although I think the price is a bit steep, I think Midway has it for around $170, but it looks like everybody is out of stock.
