I was toying with the idea of getting .410 tubes for my 20 Gauge Citori.
What are the chances the trigger will reset for the second shot?

I tried a set of Rhino tubes in my 12 gauge. 28 gauge was fine, .410 not so much.

Maybe I should load up a few 20 Gauge 1/2 oz. loads?

Thanks

Jim

I don't think kolar will make 410 tubes for a 20 gauge. Briley does and I feel for sure that you will have to have trigger work done.

Recently received my 20 gauge 725 back from Briley with 28 and 410 tubes. They did a trigger job as well. Trigger resets fine with both new gauges. Trigger is lighter and I have prematurely shot it on several clay targets. As I am getting acquainted with the trigger, the problem is resolving itself.

Buy this $5.00 part: https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/B1334495

Read this: http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=223317

Install it according to Dano523's instructions and you'll be good to go.

I have a 12 Gauge XS Skeet with Briley tubes. This is the only modification I've made to the trigger and it has never failed to reset while shooting the .410. Additionally, I spoke to a gunsmith at Briley who confirmed that this is the modification they make to Citori triggers to get them to work with their .410 tubes.
