No modification needed.
CNC machined from 4140 steel.
Muti index end cap replaces mag tube cap.

To each their own.

I have found zero usefulness for a bayonet on a long arm around my place, your place may differ.

I have a nice M7, it has uses, none of which include being "affixed" to anything.

What do I think?

If I were to put something on the muzzle end of my Benelli that made it longer and more unwieldy it would be an extended magazine. Bayonets are obsolete now that we have reliable repeating firearms. I would spend the money on extra buckshot so that you will never have to worry about running out of ammo.
