Trying to help a friend determine the value of his Browning A-5 20 gauge. Made in Belgium. It's the "Magnum Twenty" model. Has the 28" rib barrel. He is the original owner and this thing is in perfect condition. I looked it over and could not find a mark on it. He's been thinking about selling it and was shocked to see what some guys were trying to get for them on Auction Arms. Any help will be appreciated. Feel free to email me at jlshooter@comcast.net with any questions.

Thanks,
John

For what it's worth, I've seen them around these parts for $750-1000. None in quite the condition you state though. Usually with the normal handling marks and "hunting scars".

The first production year (1967) is the best for price- $1300-$1400 for a 99% gun.

I have the same gun. I would have never guessed it would be worth so much. My dad bought it used several years ago from a co-worker and hasn't shot it since. I went and bought a case of shells for it yesterday.....gonna shoot it a few rounds over Memorial Day weekend.
