I just bought the Spartan SPR 210, 12 ga, sxs gun. I want to use it for cowboy action shooting and have a few questions;

The Top Lever is VERY stiff, how do I loosen/relax it?

I want to put a recoil pad on my shotgun, what do you all recommend?

I was told that this sxs did not have shell extractors, it sure looks like it does...how do I fix this to use in SASS competition?

thank you.

Congratulations on your purchase.

Spartan (Baikal) guns tend to be very stiff at first. They will loosen a little with time and usage. I have used a few Baikal shotguns for many years. They all started very stiff, but became just right after a few hundred rounds and a lot of cleaning and oiling.

The fact that your gun is stiff in the beginning is actualy a good thing. It will be tough and durable. Don't try to loosen/relax the top lever. Just oil it well from all sides and go and shoot a few rounds. It will get better by itself.
