hi every one, i'm new here and just got my first shot gun from an old friend. he's in his 70's and said this old thing was just taking up space and gave it to me. it's a cooey model 84 single shot 12 gauge and to my untrained eyes. she is just missing the one piece to finish her. everything else works on the gun. i want to bring this gun back to it's former days cause the old guy that gave it to me is like a grandpa to me. it's the wood part that attaches to the barrel that i need. any ideas where i can get this part?

They will have anything you might need- new, used or reproduction- for Cooey firearms.
Good luck

Oh yah, the kicking-est shotgun I've ever owned. I have one, it was my first shotgun given to me when I was a kid in the 70s. You can find some parts here to:

I've found some stocks and fore ends on ebay too. Google Winchester 840 and you'll find several places that sell replacement parts for them.

Its rusted hardcore and I want to reblue it. I assume to take the wood off its all from the butt stock?
