fog-to bad the sale had to go bad like this. it's terrible to run into a bad situation that ruins it for the rest of us ( i just sold a beretta o/u on sgw, rcvd the funds and have now sent the gun). i think you have contacted all the right people. what did the police say? you might want to contact you states attorney general's office as well, they may be able to assist you. keep us posted as to what is going on. i hope you get your money!

O my. You should have checked his profile! His occupation is listed as "car sales" that right there says you can't trust him! Sorry to hear about your problems, I hope you can get a hold of him and ring his neck! A while back I attempted to sell a car over the net. The people "posing" to buy it wanted me to ship it before I got the money for it. Needless to say I wouldnt do that, and they ended up never replying back after I told them to get real.

fog i hope all turns out for the best good luck. i bought a shotgun on gunbroker and got ripped seller comited fraud and i'm in a hassle with him and gunbroker.
I sure found out gunbroker could care less if a seller commits fraud, they dang sure side with them and to hell with the buyer.

rsr1950 - I had the same issue with Gunbroker you did. I hope all who reads this understands clearly that Gunbroker will not do anything unless the seller does not ship the gun. Short of that you are on your own with the seller. Gunbroker is only interested in collecting fees from sellers all others can go take a hike.

I filed a fraud report with Gunbroker and they never did a thing about it. They could have cared less.
