Beretta's New AL391 Extrema 3.5"
When the AL391 Urika was designed, the
goal was to have the best 3" chambered shotgun on the market. We did not want to
penalize the Urika with the added weight, length and cost needed to handle the pressure
and stresses associated with the 3 1/2" super magnum loads. For 2002, we are again
releasing a "best": this year it is the A391 Xtrema 3.5, designed from the
ground up to handle 3 1/2" ammunition. Unlike other 3 1/2" shotguns that are
simple extensions of their 3" counterparts, the Xtrema is a completely new design
that complements and completes the Beretta 391 shotgun family.
