im fairly new to sporting clay shooting an was looking for a economical O/U to see if id enjoy this sport im a die hard waterfowl hunter but never got into the shooting sports
an since im left handed that made it almost impossible to find with 30 in barrels for a reasonable price
after searching for awhile all over i happened to see the YILDIZ SPORTING HPS ive seen these guns before at my local academy but never really payed much attention to them
it just so happened my local academy had one in stock after looking hard at it i decided to purchase it
well im very pleased with this gun the wood work an fitting is great for a economical priced O/U
after shooting 150 rounds thru it at the range this gun preformed great in my opinion
an busted just as many clays as the higher priced O/U out there when i was there
no its not a B gun or any of the other higher priced O/U out there but in my opinion its fine for me as of now
anyone else out there shooting this regularly

I bought the same gun in 12 ga about a month ago. I have run about 2 flats through it so far and absolutely love the feel and function. This is my first o/u so cannot compare to any others.

I bought one at the Portland, TX Academy store.

First time out the blue band on one of the extended chokes (IC) flew off and disappeared.

Also, I'm noticing inconsistent ejection on both barrels.

About 10% of the time I get a shell that will not eject.

Other than that it's been great.

If you drop it off at the academy fun counter Briley will tune it up for you.
