Sorry if this has been covered, but is the difference simply cosmetic/wood?
Also the Vertex is not listed on the RizziniUSA website, is one newer or discontinued?

Thanks

Very different. The Vertex is has a high comb and is more of a sporting clays/target model, v.s. the BR110 entry level field gun. Numerous differences, I think only the receiver is the same?

Also wondering about the difference between a BR110 sporter and the Vertex.

The Vertex is discontinued. It was the entry level offering by Rizzini. The BR110 replaced the Vertex as the entry level offering. They both came/come in Sporting and Field models. Actions are the same. Look at the old catalogs in a search.

I made this post before I did a lot of research.
Cabelas had $600-700 off the models they stock.

Ultimately I went went with a new old stock BR320 from their gun library which was also heavily discounted.
(I didn't like the cerakote type finish on the BR110 or Round Body.)

Cabelas is still selling new Vertex's though.

With Rizzinis poor presence in the US, they would be smart to keep the same models for longer.
Or at least a basic series that easily identified.
