Anyone talked to him recently? Curious if he's gotten out of the weeds yet. Have some barrel work I need done by first week of October, but I'm afraid to commit to sending it until he's squared away.

My theory is that every time you call, your barrel goes to the back of the line . . .

I'm kidding, of course. I honestly don't understand this situation as it is so contrary with my experience with Mike O. I've sent Mike at least a half dozen barrels and probably closer to a dozen. In every case save one, I've had my barrels back in hand within 10 days. Typically, turnaround, including shipping, runs right at a week.

I hope he's OK.

I emailed him last week and had a back and forth email conversation about putting chokes in my Ithaca 37. Sent the barrel off this morning......Hope it doesn't take 8 months! I need it for January......

That's not exactly close! I figured you meant it was about 1/2 hour away.

Close is a relative thing, he is a lot closer than you are. This whole saga is very interesting to me and I hope to get the full story. I am sure that it must be fairly complicated!

If you don't mind me asking, when did you send your barrel in?

I have a Mossberg 930 with an 18 1/2" open cylinder barrel. I would like to be able to add choke tubes to it. The tubes I need to be able to add are IC and IM extended choke tubes. I was wonder what it would cost. Thanks in advance for responses.

Hi Mike......... My thought of the day

If my lower barrel isn't going to work out with a screw in choke system, what about a "Fixed" choke??

If the lower barrel was a fixed "IC" or "LM" ( .715 / .710 range) choke and I have the upper as a adjustable screw in, that would work just fine for Sporting Clays, which is my intent with that shotgun........

Let me know

The one I posted was dated 2/1/12. The 2013 prices are the same, except return shipping and insurance went up from $15 to $20.

A friend sent it to me from a recent transaction. I spoke to Mike today as well and sent two barrels. This is the latest. It would be good to place it back on page 1.
