I have a double barrel hidden hammer 315 model Ranger 12 gauge. Its just a family heirloom and I seek an assembly / disassembly illustration Or if someone has one, maybe a few pictures to see how the double triggers reinstall with the safety lever release. It was taken apart with no one paying attention and so I have the honors to put together.

Any info so it can be put back on the wall would be appreciated.

None of my assembly/disassembly guides have any information on the Stevens/Ranger/Riverside Model 315. http://www.gunpartscorp.com has an exploded view of scattered parts but, no assembly info.
I suggest that you contact Brownells and enquire if their Encyclopedia of Modern Firearms, Parts & Assembly, Vol. 1 has the information you are looking for.

I have resorted to using YouTube, and taking pictures when I disassemble a somewhat unfamiliar designed firearm for the first time because I have a hard time dealing with the frustration of not being able to figure out the re-assembly. You know if you force anything you are making a mistake, but. . . . I feel for you.

This is a Springfield Arms Model 315. They were bought out by J Stevens in 1929. Hope the pics help. Someone in this shotguns past had tried to put it back together with a hammer. Didn't work. Correct parts were a bitch to find as Stevens made some changes when they bought Springfield Arms out.

Very nice look MXSENIOR, I
left mine in PLUM but I like the stainless look of yours
Ours will need the barrels resoldered but I will have to find someone more talented than I
I did reassemble all the pieces and parts to a fully functioning weapon and all new wood from rough "close" duplicate raw walnut Nice to see new life in old favorites.
