 Post subject: Savage 220 hammerless

Hello all: I`m doing a blueing project in gunsmith school on a nice little Savage 220 hammerless 12 gauge that I picked up a a good price awhile back, but I can`t find a parts diagram or schematic anywhere. Would anybody know where I could get one? I tried Nurmrich but no luck. Thanks.

Try Numrich again. Search by Manufacturer, select Savage, Click on: “220 Single Shot Shotgun schematic”.
Lot of info, easy to overlook but it’s there.

Numrich doesn't appear to have a true schematic, even though they label it as such - just an exploded parts view that shows the parts, but not where they go.

You might give this forum a try. There are some very knowledgable guys tgere. The moderator has writen a book about the 219/220s.
