Hello all- I have a 1914 Ithaca Flues 20 ga. that is missing the forend latch spring. One gunsmith said he could not replicate what I assume is a simple flat spring. Can anyone steer me in a direction that might have a photo of this part, or, conversely, advise if this spring might be available somewhere? Thank you in advance.

I'd contact Les Hovencamp at Diamond Gunsmithing.

Thank you. Les was the one who did the restoration and indicated he couldn't do anything about the forend latch spring.

Poppert's Gun Parts has a "Forend Spring", but probably for a 12ga. I would telephone them and ask about a 20ga.
