I know you can get an externally selectable trigger with the slider on the trigger, but has anyone tried converting an MX8 to be externally selectable via the safety on the tang using the MX12 inertial block, safety/selector, and associated parts, and some machining of the top tang?

I was just eyeballing it in a few pics and it looks like it might be possible, but was wondering if anyone had done it before.
