Hello,
I recently acquired a Browning Light A5 1972 made.
It is in really good condition, but the finish looks weird. like a sloppy job.
In some places there are run marks and bumpy areas. is this from a bad blue job? or just paint? it looks ok unless you look more closely. here are some pictures!

thanks!!

Wow some kind of sprayed on finish , hope you didn’t pay to much. If you want it refinished there are several places to go to. Someone or two will chime in on their experiences getting it don. If that gun functions fine they are wonderful guns.

Yeah, it was pretty cheap for an a5. It fires fine. I had one before but I gave it to my brother so I got another one.

Just for info, that is an Auto 5. The newer A5 is totally different.
