Does anyone recognize this part? It is from a Tristar Raptor 12 gauge. I recently broke the gun down for a good cleaning and I don’t know where this part came from. I would say I’m comfortable with assembly and dissemble of firearms, just stumped on this one.

The gun now isn’t cycle shells from the magazine tube.

Thanks in advance

Have you checked a parts diagram for that gun? You know what you took apart and what you didn't take apart, so it should be easier for you to identify it than for us since we don't know what all you did.

It would help considerably if you put something in the photo to give us an idea of scale. I can't tell if that piece is 1" long, 3" long, or 6" long. Place a quarter or a ruler beside the part in the photo. Any suggestions as to where you think it MIGHT have come from would also be helpful.

It's called the hammer latch spindle, and goes in the trigger assy. In the diagram it appears to connect to the carrier.
