I recently came across a very nice walnut blank, and am considering making a sporting stock for my monte carlo stocked Beretta. I can take it from a semi inlet piece to final fit and finish. The stock makers that I've talked to don't want to take on what they consider a partial project. The one that will has a bad reputation. I'm reluctant to head up such a nice piece, never having done it before. Anyone know of a reputable shop that would take this on?
