Hey folks, looking for some advise. I am fairly well versed with pump, and semi auto shot gun disassembly but never really got into taking down double guns much past taking off the fore end and barrels. We recently purchased my wife's grandfathers guns that included a post war Marlin model 90, 1952 production if I did my homework right. Opening and closing the action is a bit stiff even though the gun appears well used. I am surmising that it needs a good break down and cleaning. Internet searches produce little on this model and pretty much nothing as far as take down. Has anyone had any experience taking these down, and can a relatively handy but not professional gunsmith type handle it? Thanks in advance!
