For the love of Pete, ordering over the phone with Browning on 12/15/20 was a sheer delight with the employee “Christina” - competent, friendly, clear, concise communications - just a pleasure to drop >$230 for replacement and backup parts ...
Today; however; what a contrast and so negative I have a splitting headache! A male answered and what ensued was constant interrupting, over-talking (quote: “
Sir, why do you need a mainspring guide? WE HARDLY EVER REPLACE THOSE”) and what eventually devolved into what amounted to intentional efforts at botching the rather complex order up! (Some pre-‘96 parts, different gauges, etc. but somehow, not a problem last week
Trying to remember the last time I had to struggle over the phone to spend $250 ... oh that’s right, never.
The point of this post is,
if you need to order parts from Browning, hope you get (or ask specifically to speak with) “Christina.” If otoh a male answers whose name begins with “S”, good luck!
