Post subject:  Remington 58 Project - Finished

This began as a gently used Remington 58 Sportsman in 12 gauge. It's just a spare clays gun, a fairly inexpensive project to keep me occupied during my recovery and the winter.
Barrel was threaded by Mike Orlen.
Stocks were filled, steamed and oil finished by Steve Smith at Grizzly Guns.
Graphite Black satin Cerakote by Tim Boehler at Alternative Firearm Coatings.
Titanium Nitride (gold) by Middlebranch Machine.
I've always liked the older Remington's, this one fits me and I shoot it well.

Wow, looks nice. Those old girls can still turn a few heads at the range.

Shot my first skeet 25 straight with a 58 that was the range loaner gun. Nice job on that old girl!
