I just bought a CG Magnus Limited Sporting 32" with the CG hard case with the choke tubes that has less than 300 rounds through it for $2,900.00 It was my first time buying a shotgun and I hope I made a good choice. What do others think of this gun for sporting clays and do you think this was a good deal? Opinions please and if I could post pictures of the gun I would... Thanks. JR

Caesar Guerini shotguns have an excellent reputation. And the gun you describe is certainly an excellent candidate for sporting clays. The quality of the shotgun is not going to be a concern for you. Does it fit you? Will you be able to shoot it well? (e.g. fit and handling work for you) That is going to be the more important factor.

I have handle CG shotguns before, including the Magnus sporting, they all feel and fit very well. I am switching from shooting a Remington 1100 Skeet-B with 26" barrels and fixed skeet choke, so I hope this will improve my sporting clays scores greatly. I hope I got the best deal possible because this is a big investment for a first buy on a shotgun for somebody that has only been shooting sporting clays for two years. Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks.

Excellent advice by Stripersonfly. You've got yourself a beautiful, well-crafted, highly desirable shotgun. Congratulations! The price point looks good as well. I'm still waiting for my CG Impact Challenger Skeet; so I know what your excitement level must be getting ready to debut yours on the clays field. Please know that we're interested in how this beauty works for you. Don't forget to give us some feedback on you and your new gun as you go through the learning curve with it on the sporting clays course. Regards, JohnA

Thank you for all the support and advice. The Impact series are great guns, if I had the money or the opportunity to I would have bought an Impact model. I can't wait to try out the gun and see how my scores change and hopefully improve, with my old Remington 1100 26" barrel I hit a high of 82/100, I hope to be hitting an 85/100 with the longer barrels and more appropriate sporting clays gun. I would be happy to show off the new gun if I could get the pictures to show up....

I think you made a very poor choice, the gun is worth $1000.00, at the very most.....Being the good hearted person that I am, I'll give you $2000.00 for the gun & pay the shipping.
U dun real good. Shoot the gun & enjoy.

Thanks for the offer Bob, the previous owner was kind enough to cover the shipping on the gun as well so I think I'll do the same for you, just give me an address to ship it to and you can actually have the gun for free.
Thanks Bob, I really will enjoy this one.

Congratulations on your CG! I just today bought the same gun. Looking forward to delivery in a few days. Now you bought that gun for 2900? Wow! Great deal with only 300 rounds! I paid double that. They are beautiful and I’ve wanted a Guerini for many years. Enjoy!
