Due to logistics (no one's fault) I had to a few days longer than I thought to get my CG Summit Limited. But tomorrow is the day I take possession and get to shoot some rounds.
Hopefully, Lehigh Sporting Clays won't be too jammed up.
Looking forward to it.

Could be! When I was at Orvis Sandanona (NY) 4 years ago, all I needed was my driver's license to bu the gunn right then and there.

You don’t need anything but a drivers license in PA ..... WTF! The only restriction would be a nonresident that lives in a state with laws pertaining to the specific weapon.

I'm not sure where the bugaboo is but when I bought my Fabarm from Orvis Sandanona a few years ago, all I needed was a driver's license, they made a quick call to who knows who and I walked out with the gun.

Firearms license? Did I sleep through the election and a Democrat won?

Sorry I posted too quickly, I'm going Wednesday. I'll get there early enough to lube the gun and shoot some rounds prior to 2 hours of instruction. I just hope it's not raining.

Thanks for the post!

When I go there tomorrow, I will ask them why the Card is needed.

The card is "State of NJ Firearms Purchaser IDENTIFICATION CARD."

Soooo.... you obviously have to have one to purchase a firearm in NJ (?). Does procuring one not only allow you to purchase a gun, but not have to go through a background check...because you`ve already gone through one .... in order to get the card in the first place??

No way. You'll still have to do the NICS check.
