Fond as I am of the boy, I have still not forgiven him for hoping Auburn beat UGA. MAJ

I think it was nothing personal-strictly business. He was just trying to clear the field for his beloved Roll Tide so they could progress. I was worried about him for awhile after the Tide had no chance at the title. Despondent doesn't begin to describe his attitude while I was still into the games until the end. Some great football back in those pre-virus days!

Well, I now know never to ride in a sleigh with the boy when the pursuing wolves are catching up! MAJ

You guys are really doing a number on me and my character!

MAJ, you asked if I`d ever hunted quail from a mule. No, some of the upper crust used to (and maybe still do ) hunted from a mule drawn wagon. Didn`t ride the mules! There are still those that hunt from horseback. Those folks were above us as far as social status went, we hoofed it! Wish I had a quarter for every mile my dad and I put in! By the way, I would NEVER throw a lady to the wolves, not even a UGA lady!
