I am considering making a deal on a used Summit Sporting. The gun is a 12ga, 32 inch barrel. Has case and paperwork,6 or 8 original chokes and 4 Pure Gold Titanium chokes incluhed. The gun also has a Ney (bruce?) recoil reduction system installed. The gun is 5 yrs old and is reported to be in 98% condition.

My questions are:

1. Is this a good quality gun? Is it durable?
2. What does the recoil reduction system do to the value?
3. Any issues that I should look for?
4. Any idea of a fair price range?
5. Do the Pure Golds add much value?
6. What was the original lop?
7. Anything else I should consider or look at?

I wouldn't touch it with a 20 foot pool. Don't need or want a recoil reduction system. Gun probably has been shot much and isn't worth much

Have you shot this gun yet? I would shoot it to see if the recoil reduction makes a difference for you. I have shot a Beretta DT11 with the Bruce Ney RR and it was an excellent shooter and the RR worked extremely well.

I have shot it, it was real nice. I didnt notice much recoil. It was so nice that it came home with me. Called Guerini today and they said they would do a pit stop whenever I was ready!

You will love working with the Customer Service department at Guerini. Since you have gone from reported to be 98% to you've shot it, what did the condition look like to you? Was it tight, lever still right of center, stock dimensions ok? Have you look at the going prices of other Summit Sportings? How does the price on this one compare.

I love all of my CGs. But then I love all the guns I own or I wouldn't own them.

Bob

Had it and survived so I guess I am OK for now. Just waiting for an Antibody test, to see if I might be less prone to get it again.
