My new Summit Trap Combo wood, I could not resist either, saw it and bought it.
CG does have a lot nice wood.

Do not allow the stock to get loose!! Also check the inletting to see if it is evenly contacting the action.

thanks i will check tomorrow, i wonder if there is a torque spec for the stock tighten bolt? maybe if I contact CG unless someone knows already?

I have read some people use Tru oil or Boiled Linseed Oil on the CG guns, they recommend a application of the oil products, any oil based wood finish that you prefer would be suitable as they state on the video.( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxmpoImHJCA ) Question is some people say to treat the inside of the stock also? Just asking since I will remove the stock to inspect check the inletting to see if it is evenly contacting the action as stated by CURLY N , should I use some BLO or BirchWood Casey TRU Oil on inside surfaces?

Drm101 how do you like your magnus? How long have you owned it? Where did you buy it at?
It is extremely nice wood! Was that wood your first choice? That gun they say will be around for a few generations, lets hope 3/4 down the road shooting sports still popular
