CG makes some semi autos that aren't being sold in the US. My first question is do they make a left hand version, then, can a guy get one imported legally?

I believe that CG autos are made by their sister company Fabarms. Most of these are available in the US under the Fabarm name in both right and left hand versions https://fabarmusa.com/shotguns/.

There are no left hand versions. https://www.caesarguerini.it/en/roman-mmx

Apparently CG does make a SA. Can certainly vouch for the Fabarm guns. CG/ Fabarm are for practical purposes the same company. They even share the same customer services ( which is excellent ).

They are inertia guns, like Benelli. For recoil, better off with a left hand Fabarm.

I really like inertia semi autos though. That's all I own. I have a Browning and a couple Berettas but have always gone back to Benelli. I shot a Fabarm XLR5, but it was right handed so it kicked pretty impressively. Hopefully I will find a LH Fabarm to ease my concerns.
