It should be as it list for $4995 & can be bought new for about $4500. Good used Ascents- if you can find one - are selling for about $3500.
The Impact list for $5925 & very clean used are going for about $3500 as they are not as in demand as the Ascent. Clean used Impact are very close in price to a good used Ascent.

When I first got my Ascent it was
indeed shooting high. I took it to Gil for his assesment and after I shouldered it he concluded as I, the gun was too long for me. At 14 7/8" LOP I had it shortened to Gil's specs. Im' 5'9" and built like an offensive Guard so after shortening it it's POI is perfect. Couldnt be happier with it.

My Summit Ascent shoots spot on at 50/50...I'm using the soft-comb they sell set flush to the wood...I have had zero issues with my Ascent and the Guerini chokes are excellent...buy it....shoot it...love it...

I have never patterned my ascent but I love how it shoots. I got rid of the middle bead and am almost all the way down with comb but not 100%. I do tend to stay a little below the little below the target for my preferred site picture so I am sure I am patterning a little high.

Update: I actually shot some shells through both barrels at a grease patter plate this weekend. I was wrong it shoots pretty much dead flat how I have it set up currently....which is a bit lower in the comb than what I had been shooting the last six months or so.
