I have seen a couple Sarriugarte O/U SLEs but never one in 20ga. Would you mind posting some pictures and info? Thanks

Long time reader, very infrequent poster

In my possession I have 2.5 Spanish works

12 ga 28" Ugartechea M30 IC/M (ACT III) coin finished receiver
12 ga 28" Ugartechea 221 M/F (Exel)

12 ga JC Higgins Model 100 barreled receiver. Needs buttstock and trigger work

The 221 was a project gun that I refinished the stock on and added a pad. The M30 is stock.

I am on the lookout for a decent Ugartechea 20 ga boxlock, I haven't bought a gun in 2008 and the "need" is arising

Dave D Introduced me to the world of Spanish SXS's last month. I love em so far!! I just have this one:

Uggie-Model 30 - 12 bore

But now I think I want a better one next year like a LCS III or IV in 16 gauge for qauil and grouse, or maybe an AYA or Arrieta. Don't know crap about either of those but Daves shoots nice. :D

Because im having fun tonight and feeling giddy, I have two Spanish guns, One I bought 14 years ago because it was almost perfect, didnt care where it came from it just fit the bill.
AYA16 Coral over under, English stock two triggers and I/c and mod. weighed 6 pounds nothing and shot like it was part of my arm. That gun is a dream come true for someone that has shot everything from a HR single shot to a 80 year old lefever. And it was a 16 gauge, can you imagine my thoughts when I first saw it????

The next one was a 16 gauge AYA 2 that someone posted here.
That gun doesnt mean much to me except the guys here pointed it out to me. (thats a lot right there) But the gun, I hope, will rank right up there as the best all around wonder shotgun I ever touched. Already she shoots where I look, she weighs nothing, and she has removable chokes, the one thing lacking in my O/U AYA. (briley will fix that)

But I can already tell even if she was a bespoke she couldnt fit any better. There are great anticipations for it. and three weeks she gets her chance to prove it. I bet she will, and I already bought special shotshells just for her.

I want a AYA no. 2, 28 gauge with Briley chokes installed, for Karen, Im looking and Ill someday find her. It a good thing the value of such a gun goes down when the chokes are messed with, for me. I would never have bought the AYA 16 if it didnt have the chokes. Even though it was everything Scott, I think it was him, said it was when he went and saw it.

I kind of fell into the Spanish gun thing, not even knowing what I had other than it worked for me, sort of like most of the Spanish guns seem to have going for them, they work for the people that buy them.

Grulla 216RL 12ga
Grulla 216RL 28ga

Both were made in 2004 and are round body with the "old coin" finish (both are SG/SFE/DT).

I only have one. I was looking for a 10 gauge SxS with double triggers and found a nice one, it happened to be Spanish and ended up being my nicest shotgun. If it was not so heavy and over kill for most of my hunting it would be my main shotgun! I love it.

ZH-Churchill Windsor I 10 gauge 3 1/2" chambers and 32" barrels.

Hey all you addicts!

It's time to update the inventory. I know some of you have made a move or two in recent months. My list is short.

Grulla 216, 12 and 16 more barrels, 28" and 26" respectively, SNST. Both bored IC/M. Cased. 1995 gun.

AyA XXV BL, 12 bore, DT, .007" and .020" chokes. 1982 gun.

Love 'em both. If I had any money I would get a SL XXV too. :(
