Short of going to Spain and actually visiting the shop, I don't know of anyway to be sure of who is closed and who is open.

That said, I'm reasonably sure that the following makers are still open or have reopened after closing/reorganizing:

Aguirre y Aranzabal

Amadeo Pintado (Armas Parkemy)

Ignacio Ugartechea

Grulla (Union Armera -> Grulla was just a name change)

Ignacio Zubillaga

Keman

Armas Garbi

GIL y Cia

Escopetas El Reno (Angel Mazorriaga)

Some of these may be mostly doing repair/refurbishment (I suspect this is the case with Armas Parkemy). There may be dozens more small, one and two man, shotgun makers who have no internet presence and do little or no advertising, who are known only locally.

Ugartechea has come back from the dead? That's great news. I hope Arrieta is next.

Edited to add: Just checked their website. It seems to be current, and they have even lowered prices.

I know Arrieta bought them and then went out of business, but Arrizabalaga still has an active website and seems to still be producing guns.

Arrieta's website is currently active too. Does this mean they are currently taking orders and building guns as well?

I just emailed both of them to ask about their status. I'll report back if I get a response. If anyone here speaks Spanish, there are phone numbers on their websites, too.

Hopefully they're keeping their websites up-to-date because they plan to rise from the dead.

Nice to see GIL y Cia listed as being active, I have a couple of their guns.

FYI, I saw this string, and I really like Spanish shotguns. I speak Spanish, so I tried the numbers on the website. But none of them rang through. I was excited to see Uggie's might have pulled through, but I am not as optimistic now.

Thanks for going to the trouble of trying. What a pity.

Looks like AyA, Garbi and Grulla are all that are left standing.

The Turks are getting better and better, but the Spanish guns are still considerably more refined and elegant. Fingers crossed that they can stay in the game.

I think they mostly made replica black powder guns, but they made at least two breech loaders.

Mine and one that was for sale in the U.K. several years ago. I've never been able to find any more than that.

Armas Marixa (Entry level A&D box lock and 5 pin side lock )

Kromson (Boss action O/U)

FWIW, the last gasp of Victor Sarasqueta was under the banner of Rifles y Escopetas Especiales.

Zamacola Hermanos. 1882 to 1982 when factory in Eibar burned. Made some nice guns. Have one.

Kemen, Armas Kemen, is definitely in business and making guns and also new titanium
framed guns.
They just recently posted a new website "armaskemen.com" and also have a Facebook
page.
I have also ordered spare parts and they also sell accessories.
The Brits have said that they will be introducing a new gun soon, the KM-5.
It appears their business is quite busy as the wait for a new bespoke gun is close to a year.

I found a 1963 vintage listing for Armas Celta-Borchers, P.O. Box 22, Guernica, Spain. They built a variety of game guns.in 12, 16, 20, 28 & .410 bore. Their models ranged from a hammer single barrel to A&D SxS's and H&H pattern SLE guns. They are not listed in the 1975 Spanish Arms Association catalogue.
