Hello everybody Approximately when did the Eibar makers switch to the 12-76 3 inch chambering? This JABE is a 12-70 with side clips, round Greener crossbolt, but high serial number. Made in 60's?

The various Basque gunmakers would build a gun chambered for 12/76 (12 ga./3") whenever a customer was ready to order and pay for one.

Per BATF/E, stripped frames/receivers are not C&R qualified firearms.

Good Point Hello Kyrie, a pleasure to finally meet you sir. I have had my C & R license practically forever and have seldom used it these last 20 years. I obviously will need to read up on the most recent rules and regs. Poses no serious problem, my mentor and FFL gunsmith friend, lives just down the road, I can have him bring the receiver in. Do you have any other wisdom on this orphaned paperweight?
