Friends All...The polls are being put on the board so we can get a handle on who is loading what. We are doing this to give better service and bring to the board tests, etc that are of interest. Also to try to bring aboard a broader base of shotgun shooters/reloaders. We are starting to see some of the very fine people I have been in contact over the years.
I am concerned at the small percent that vote vs those that visit. We need your imput!
Thanks to All and Best Regards, James

Lex Talio,

HEAR-HEAR I agree 100 %. I can't believe that on some of these posts there are as many as a few hundred views and only a hand full of replies. I would like very much to see lots more replies from some of the several hundred members of this board. no-one is going to hunt anyone down and tell them they gave stupid advice. Rather most people will think that it is useable info or shelve it for future refrence. If anything is too off the wall then people have the right to state that also. but it all boils down to why we are members of this board.

Thanks for your input, Joe

Joe and All.......This is common on forums. I call it the great "Silent Majority" and they are very important. Having dealt with other forums over the years that were part of selling a product, I have been told by the owners that the orders were based on posts many times that there was no posted response. In cases like that we knew there was a interest....However, in the case of this forum we have to look at the hits or polls. I would like to see a broad base on the reloading catagory, covering many shooting situations. We can only work toward that if we get response to the polls, which reflect interest. An example...I have designed a bullet/slug aimed at rifled shotgun barrels. The specs are at the mold maker now. It is a take off of the Paradox. I would post the shooting/test results if I thought there was some interest.
Best Regards, James "Lex Talio" Gates

hi Lex Talio I'm very interested in your slugs .
I've been testing all the slugs I can get here as in ballistic performance at 50 meters in soft clay, drop over the same range etc. so any info you can post will be of interest.

irish9 and all.....The slug/bullet I am having a mold cut for is a re-design of the bullet that was used in Paradox guns of the past. It has a truncated cone nose with a flat .500" meplat. The slug is designed for medium and heavy game in 12 ga. rifled shotgun barrels. Interest was first generated from my contacts overseas where sabot slugs are not popular. The slug has a large lube groove like the original Paradox slug and also a crimp groove. It is designed to be use also in brass shotshells......2 1/2" brass shell for 2 3/4" chambers - 2 3/4" brass shells in a 3" chamber. It can also be loaded inside of plastic hulls in both chamber lengths. After extensive testing it will be marketed here and overseas.
Best Regards, James Gates
