Thanks for all of the replies, I know Ive shot plenty of red dot loads out of my 20ga. Our Mec 600 is set up to dump 12g red dot, 7/8 shot. Here is a pretty good article I found on the subject of pressure.

in europe we have 2 tier pressure standards.

guns can be proofed to use ammunition that exceeds the standard / lower tier. it is called High performance. HP. often called HP1050 bar. thats about an average of 15,220psi if the conversions are right,
i`ve used and made HP shells for my 12gauge.

the issues of sleeve sets / tubes are valid.
we tend not to use them in europe. i`ve seen one, once.
